Q.What is included in the $19.95 / month package?

For just $19.95 per month, you receive:

Q.How does your service work?
A.

Upon sign up and payment authorization, we will create your new account. This process can take up to 24 hours. Once your account setup is complete, a CallJimbo service representative will email you at the address on file. This introductory email will contain instructions and a link to our user agent software, which you will need to download and install on the supported computer. When the download is finished, simply open the file and launch the application by double-clicking.

If you have not received your account setup email within 24 hours, or if you have additional questions, please contact CallJimbo Customer Service at 440.891.9941 for assistance.

Please Note: the agent must be downloaded on the PC that you want coverage on, and this is non-transferrable.

Q.Do I have to shut my computer off at night?
A.

No. In order to receive the benefits of our managed services, you should leave your PC turned ON. This is so we can keep your computer protected and updated. It also provides 24-hour monitoring to keep your computer running at its peak performance.

Q.Can you see my personal information (bank, passwords, etc.) information?
A.

No. Our monitoring service does not capture or store any personal information. It only monitors your PC, hardware, software, and anti-virus applications. Your personal information is protected.

Q.Will you bill my credit card automatically?
A.

Yes. We will automatically bill your credit card on your monthly renewal date. Service will be billed in advance for the following month. For example, service for the month of January 1 through February 1 will be billed on January 1. A one-time installation fee of $21.95 will be billed along with the first month’s payment.

Q.What is “Managed Antivirus”?
A.

Managed Antivirus is real-time monitoring and protection — 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Our managed service keeps us informed of potential viruses and/or malware on your computer, and alerts us instantly. We are then able to remove it immediately, before it becomes a much bigger problem.

Q.Do I have to sign a contract?
A.

Yes. We require a 6-month contract commitment upon initial signup. This will give you enough time to see the value in our service. After the initial term, your plan will automatically renew on a month-to-month basis. Written notice is required 30 days in advance to cancel your contract.

Please Note: We will NOT re-activate cancelled accounts. If you choose to cancel service with us, understand that you cannot become a customer again when a problem arises. We WILL allow service reinstatement if your account is cancelled as a result of a stolen credit card or card expiration.

Q.I already have an antivirus application on my computer. Can I use that?
A.

When our Managed Antivirus is installed on your computer, it will automatically replace any existing antivirus service or application. Please make sure to cancel any automatic subscriptions you have with your current antivirus software.

Q.Will I receive updates in sleep mode?
A.

No. If your computer hard drive goes to sleep, your updates will not run. We will help to configure your power settings so that the computer will stay updated even when it is not being used.

Q.Is my credit card information secure?
A.

CallJimbo adheres to the highest standards of Internet information security. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Private Communication Technology security standards that are supported by Internet Explorer 6.0 (or later), as well as other popular browsers.

Q.What if I get a virus? Do I have to call an 800 number and wait on hold?
A.

No. Our suite of managed services keeps us informed of any potential threats or vulnerabilities and alerts our technicians immediately — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.   All information concerning support requests will be provided in your welcome email package after you sign up.  Our team responds to all support requests in the order they are received, between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, EST.
